Miessence Certified Organics
I recieved a number of miessence products a few weeks back from Erin Ely and her store Ely Organics, but in the interest of time I'm only going to review two: the skin conditioner, and the cleanser. The products were fantastic, the brand Miessence are certified organics by Australian government, the USDA, and IFOAM. They are also certified organic to International Food Standard.
The first thing that captivated me with this autralian brand was the fragrance of both products. The astonishing scent kind of reminded me of the time I used to use Aveda products.
Miessence Rejuvenating CLEANSER
Upon request, Erin (the sweetheart), gave the option to select the cleanser based on my current skin condition, I choose "Dry Or Mature". The cleanser is also available in:
- Normal/Combination Skin
- Oily/Problem Skin
- Sensitive Skin

The cleanser performed well washing away all of my makeup (a layer of organic mineral foundation, blush, eye liner, and a few eye shadows), needless to say, it did the job without the use of exessive rubbing. The rejuvenating cleanser was that of a creamy mix, non irrating, and non abrasive. I would definatly recomend this gentle and pure cleanser to anyone.
Miessence Rejuvenating Skin Conditioner
For the skin conditioner, I also selected the "dry/mature skin" type as I did with the cleanser (Above).

I used the conditioner as my second step in my face care regimen (after step 1 - cleansing). The product worked as a wonderful toner to prime, and balance my skin before the use of my moisturizer. I have always been an avid spray-toner kind of person so I was leiry about trying a pump for the first time, but the consistency of this product came out goop-like, and then spread & dried really nicely (claps hands)! My skin felt tightened and hydrated.
Overall, I was able to use the miessence rejuvenating cleanser in conjunction with the miessence rejuvenating skin conditioner for a few weeks and my skin felt really healthy, and moisturized. Not to mention, the packaging is 100% recyclable, and non-leaching plastic. If you would like to try the certified organic miessence products, I strongly suggest using them in combination with all of their wonderful steps for best results! These products are highly recomended, contact Erin and give them a try. It will be worth it, take my word for it!
